1. First glance

I was sleeping peacefully enjoying my life. But soon my peace was interrupted by a soft yet annoying voice which was continuously nagging about my beauty sleep. Feeling irritating "why are shouting on me? Let me sleep peacefully." I whispered slowly that barely got her attention.

"Come on for God sake wake up girl, it is sharp 9 am and you are getting freaking late." Aera stated being done with me.

"Nahi , mujhe college nahi jaana , aaj nahi please?"

"No i don't want to go college, not today please?" I said in my sleepy voice.

"Naina you are not a college student anymore, stop nagging like a 5 year child and get up , you have to leave for your flight ✈️ to India today ". Aera spoked reasoning her act of disturbing my sleep .

I got up being all excited , all my sleep ended in seconds after listening of going back to India to my parents and most importantly the well settled business of mine which I was constantly shifting from Newyork to India. Finally my dream is accomplished today. I will finally meet my parents after being successful and they will surely welcome me in best way possible.

I quickly went towards washroom after taking my dress to wear today. Completely ignoring my one and only soulmate , my mood lifter, and my unstatterable support , my best friend while she simply rolled her eyes at my arrogant behaviour , which I do to make her annoyed . I love her annoying expression.

Naturally she is a soft spoken and introverted women
But she somehow becomes a complete angry Bird aunt (like typical chachi's of our house) and always scold me for my behaviour. In simple words I love to annoy her.

After taking a refreshing bath I came out of my room where Aera was sitting in my bed, searching something on her phone and she was smiling while looking at her phone.

"Naina look at these, as you are going to India I searched some of top companies and see he comes first in literally every kind of businesses. Seeing these many achievements I thought he would be and old man in his Fortis or fifties. But when I searched his name you can't believe what I saw ?" Aera said still can't believing her own words .

Curiosity beeped inside me seeing my friend excited curiously I questioned "what did you saw?"

"Uff ...man he is so handsome, straight out of any book , he exactly looks like a hot fictional character" Aera said in her dreamy voice .

He must be really something to get my friends attention . Being curious about him I took her phone and saw a man whose features was sharp and catchy his black eyes, he sharp nose tip and most important his muscles which were flexing even though he was wearing a fully office attire.

Seriously he look like a straight out of fictional book. I thought.

Aera her hand around my neck "so miss coldy liked someone for the first time ..huh?" She said while showing her Bunny teeth.

"No it's not like that I was just seeing as you are so exaggerating about his features and you know.." I said avoiding her question.

"Oh .. okay .come on now let's throw you out of the city ". She said while taking me to the car after locking my house. She already packed and kept my luggage in the car. I sat on passenger seat while she drove us to the airport.

After an hour we reached airport I took my luggage and was going to departure area but soon I stopped my steps and turned back to my friend with slight moisture in my eyes. She soon understood and came to me and hugged me tightly. She slowly patted my back while I broke in tears .

"It's okay I know you will miss me I will miss you too but please don't cry baby." Aera wiped my tears and again hugged me tightly.

"Aera i cannot live without you "..I said In my baby voice.

"Me too darling. But don't worry . I will too come to India after a few month. Right ? " I nodded my face lightly agreeing with her .

"And then we can stay with eachother like before "saying this she left me and wiped my tears .

I look at her one last time and when to take my leave. I bid my last farewell to her through the glasses between. It felt like my heart is getting away from me.

She is really my everything, she always supported me.
I am a strong woman in front of whole world but only my friend knows my real struggles and my insecurities. She always tried her best in helping me in everywhere possible. I am glad to God that I got this fellow. My lovely fellow.

I sat on my seat enjoying the high class treatment given by the airlines staff as I booked my ticket in business class. Of course and business women like me cannot offer to go in normal flight right?

I have money so why would I not spend it on myself. Otherwise why did I even earn money,
to spend on me right...😌

Thinking this I slowly drifted to my sleep in the flight.....

Next day....

Naina's flight landed on India . She being fully tired took her luggage and came out of the flight.

After the scanning and checks done by the airport staff she took her luggage 🧳 and went towards departure area.

But soon she got bumped into a lady who was holding a juice in her hand , Naina apologized even though it was not her fault . But the women starting cursing her. She can't tolerate these type of behaviour.

"Can't you see. And walk see you destroyed my precious bag. Do you even have an any how expensive it is ? " The women said in an annoying tone.

"Didn't i apologized even it was not my mistake , you were the one who came in wrong direction not me ?
Naina said calmly not showing her anger .

"Huh.. really now see what I will do "saying this the women was about to throw her juice on Naina, but Naina was fast enough to splash her drink back on her which resulted her all dress to get ruined.

"You ... how dare you do that to me ,you don't even the cost of these expensive things.. "she shouted on Naina.

"You could have saved your clothes by not messing up with me but you choose to get it ruined by yourself, however I did your loss so take it and shup up your fucking mouth" Naina said while handing her a blank cheque.

The women's eyes went wide open seeing the blank cheque see was going to take it in her hand but Naina took it back to her.

"What you will get it simply, no way girl" Naina said and called the few of workers and told them to make sure she cleans up the mess she created and then hand her the cheque.

Everyone was seeing the drama in the standing around them but Naina ignored them and took her sunglasses which was in her side bag and wore it while showing some attitude and went ahead leaving everyone astonished by her charms.

On the other side Reevan Singhania and his smaller brother Ayaansh singhaniya also stood there seeing her irresistible boldness.

Ayaansh quickly took his phone out and took a photo of Naina who seemed to not notice this act of him .
Actually Ayaansh has a habit of taking pictures of beautiful scenarios and beautiful girl so he took her photo.

"Did you liked her?" Revaan aware of his brother's habit asked him .

"Yeah , so much ."he replied to which revaan glared him coldly.

"Calm... Bro I liked her for you not for me "he said to him to which he rolled his eyes but inside he felt relief after his confession.

"Should I leave you here it self and go home alone ?"revaan said to his brother in cold voice

"Bhai , itna bhi kya gussa
Mai apke liye biwi dhundi hai aur badle me mujhe kuch der mujhse acche se baat bhi nahi karsakte"

"Brother, what's need to be this angry
I am finding wife for you and in return can't you even talk to me nicely "Ayaansh told showing his goofy smile .

"If you want to go back , you can surely open your mouth in the whole ride"saying this he left his brother behind and walked to his Rolls Royce.

Seeing his brother serious face Ayaansh quickly went and sat on passenger's seat while revaan started the car and left to their house.

Naina sat took a cab to her house . She told the driver address and put on headphones while enjoying some music.

She was so excited to see her parents as she was going to surprise her. She told them she will come India but she told them she will come next week but she was coming today. So she was excited about her surprising plan.

After a while she reached her destination, she took out her luggage and entered a lavish villa which was owned by his father Manohar Malhotra.

Entering the house she handed her luggage to the workers of the house.

"Mom...Dad where are you , see who's there?.."she looked for her parents but there is no sign of them . Now she regretted her decision of surprising them.

Sadly she was going in her room while climbing the stairs that are in Middle of the villa but to her surprise the voices broke out from her back.

She turned back to only get surprised by her parents. Her parents was standing there with a beautiful well designed cake on the small movable table .

She happily came to her mother and hugged her happily "Mom i missed you so much" then she hugged her father "Dad i missed you more than mom" Naina said only to get her ear twisted by her mother.

"Oh I see ..I too missed you less you know.."Megha said leaving her with a pout on her face

'sorry maa mai mazak kar rahi thi."

"Sorry maa I was just joking."

"Okay , now cut the cake it's getting melted "said Manohar.

She went near cake and cut a small piece she was going to feed her parents but a mischief came to her mind she went near her mom and acted to feed her and suddenly she kept it in her own mouth making both of her parents laugh at her antics

"But how did you know I was coming today" said Naina

"We are your parents for a reason"said Megha

"We found your details of flight ticket"

"So you could have came to pick me up right? " Naina said with a pout.

"Aren't you the one who decided to come secretly so you did deserve that"megha said to her daughter

"Now go get some rest you must be tired from traveling "her dad said to which she nodded and went to her room

Both of the brothers came out of the car after reaching the destination.

The enter there lavish big bungalow.

Their mother was waiting for them sitting on the couch.

As soon as she saw her son's she hurriedly came and hugged to his son.

"Mumma, I missed you so much "Ayaansh said to his mother while hugging

"You were only far for one week only son" she said Mockingly to him

"So what It was my first time away with you people "Ayaansh stated

"But I missed my cute son more "saying she came and hugged Revaan to which he gladly hugged her back

"You can call me anything but not cute mom"revaan whined like a child

"What ! He just came to pick me up from flight mom it's just few hours he was away from you" Ayaansh scoffed on his brother and mother .

"So wahi toh mai keh rahi hoon, ke mujhe KUCH ghante dur rehne pade mere pyare bete se"his mother told sarcastically.

(So that Is I am saying i had to stay away from my son for few hours )

"Ahh..i can't believe you mom."Ayaansh said making fake crying face.

"It's ok son but I missed your stupid ass" Amit entered their house with a smile while saying

Ayaansh went and hugged him while saying"only can you miss me really dad"

"Yeah I missed you one second every hour of the day" Amit said with a teasing smile

"Dad that barely 24 seconds a day "Ayaansh said getting irritated .

Everyone laughed at their cute bickering except revaan . He just kept staring at her mom who was giving her pleading look to stay more.

But he was too stubborn to listen"Mom i leaving i have work to complete "he said giving a last hug to his mom .

And went past them to exit. While his father sighed looking at his behaviour.
It was common for everyone here but still it felt so heartbreaking everytime.

Revaan sat in his car and started driving to his office . Slowly he took out his phone and opened gallery, clicked at a specific picture which belonged to a girl.

"It's time to meet you sweetheart..."
He said while looking at the picture lovingly.

It was the same picture of Naina which Ayaansh clicked on the airport.
He got the picture when he was busy meeting their parents.

Next day

I woke up after feeling refreshed after a tiring journey. And now i am excited to go to my office.

My curiosity is on peek ,to day finally I am going to take over my company which is also now emerged with some associations which I too don't know.

But no worries I will find out today.
I went to my closet and picked am elegant yet official dress for my first day of office.

I went to bathroom and after a long shower I came out wearing a robe , i sat infront of my mirror table and did some skin routine.

No matter what I am going through bad or good my skin is the most important for me .

Feeling refreshed i wore my dress...

I wore this for my first day.

I drove off my car to my office.

Entering the lavish and well designed I was impressed about my choice of both interior and exterior looks

I was greeted by my employee with some flowers and few type of sweets.

I felt warm at their welcome gesture with sweet things and words.

I made my way to my cabin and my manager followed me there.

"So what are the affairs currently?"
I asked in a cold yet stern tone while sitting on my personal chair.

"Mam, we haven't received any contacts yet as all the contract first go the biggest company and then comes to us ,and as we are the second most biggest company we will get it after the first company deals get done.."
Manager said while giving information of the business deals

(Sorry I forgot to tell you the both companies are engineering related and the most successful of the whole is their architecture engineering industries)

"And who is the first company?"I asked little bit angrily.

"Maam , there are Singhaniya group of companies "he said while looking down.

"Hmm,..sounds interesting..now get out and send the most brilliant engineer of our company "
I ordered him to which he bowed and left .

After a few minutes a man enters the Naina's cabin looking so hot yet charming handsome while holding a beautiful flower bouquet with him a employee of Naina enters

Seeing them she thought he was the engineer of her company but somewhere she felt he is looking so much more professional than a engineer.

"I didn't know my company has these handsome type of engineers working here, i highly doubt so girls come here to work or to stare him"Naina thought to herself.

But soon her thoughts were interrupted by her employee "ma'am he is ..."

"I know. You get out"Naina cutted her words in between and ordered to go out which she responded and left but not before glancing a while at tha man standing there .

Seeing this Naina felt angry but maintained her professionalism.

"This is for you , my lady"revaan said to Naina but he just mumbled on word"my lady" making sure she don't listen.

The main shock here was revaan as he is a cold man and he never even visited to his partners office and any party but he came to his upcoming rival of his business just to greet her
And that too with flowers . If someone ever saw him doing this they would surely go to coma for sure .
Cause he can never be even nice to his partners and here he was completely different with his rival

Naina stood there shocked at his antics . Now she surely got idea that he is not her employee
